Position Summary:
As the Studio Manager for the Global Design Organization, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and creative output of our Creative Services team, inclusive of graphic design and video services. You will oversee the operations of a dynamic team of graphic designers, content creators, and video production specialists. Your expertise will be crucial in prioritizing workloads, allocating resources, and establishing realistic project schedules.
Reporting into the Creative Director, you will foster an environment that nurtures creativity and project success through clear prioritization, effective planning practices, efficient execution, and collaboration with other groups. Your organizational skills and adaptability will be key as you actively engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, showcasing strong studio management capabilities.

Your Day-to-Day:
Workload Prioritization and Resource Allocation
- Prioritize and manage workloads for a diverse team of graphic designers, content creators, and video production specialists.
- Assess and prioritize workloads to ensure efficient use of resources and timely project delivery.
- Allocate resources based on project needs, skillsets, and availability.
- Manage team capacity and workflow to balance multiple projects concurrently.
- Develop and maintain realistic schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to align timelines and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Oversee freelancers' workloads across multiple time zones. Allocating projects, monitoring their hours, managing purchase orders, and invoicing.
Collaboration and Communication
- Implement best practices for creative processes and workflows.
- Utilize our project management tools, ClickUp & Workfront, for scheduling and collaboration with the team.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovation and high-quality output.
- Facilitate open communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.
- Oversee digital asset management, including archiving outdated assets, managing user accounts and permissions, handling subscription renewals, updating metadata, and addressing user inquiries.
Stakeholder Engagement and Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding studio projects.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment with project goals and deliverables.
- Regularly communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders.
Planning and Execution Practices
- Implement and maintain efficient planning and execution practices to streamline processes and enhance project success.
- Utilize our project management tool, ClickUp & Workfront, and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Continuously evaluate and refine studio operations to optimize performance.
Production Oversight
- Guide and support the team to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Oversee production, from conceptualization to final delivery.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all creative output, including graphic design, digital content, and video production, meets the highest standards of quality and our established brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular quality checks and provide feedback to maintain consistency and excellence.
What you Bring to The Team:
- Minimum of five years of experience managing creative teams, including graphic designers, content creators, and video production specialists.
- Experience working in an in-house creative team or agency.
- Strategic oversight experience to ensure alignment with long-term goals and objectives.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a systematic and methodical approach to work.
- Strong listening and superior relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse team, fostering professional growth and development.
- High intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, and persuasion skills.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining realistic schedules and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Agile methodology minded, being flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, mediation, and team-building skills, possessing diplomacy and business judgment.
- Adept at problem-solving with a proactive approach to managing challenges.
- Flexible during times of change and able to pivot as needed.
- Deep understanding of graphic design, content creation, and video production processes.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all creative output.
- This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, home-based, hybrid, or office-based in the US.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
- This role requires 1 trip per year.
Software Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using digital workflows/project management software a plus (ClickUp and Workfront being ideal).
- Understanding of digital technology.
Pluses
- Experience working in lean/agile environments but agnostic to approach
- Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
- Experience working in Figma and other digital design tools.
