Opportunity
BrainStorm is seeking an experienced Sr. Graphic Designer to own our marketing team’s creative strategy and creative execution. BrainStorm is blazing new trails with a brand-new platform and market segment, requiring a refresh of our go-to-market strategy (including website, event presence, enablement resources, and outreach). We are looking for a candidate with distinct creative flair, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a ready instinct for connecting creative functions to their corresponding business objectives.

What you'll own

  • Own and maintain our brand guidelines; Drive brand consistency and fidelity
  • Creative responsibilities support the following: Sales enablement (Documents, Slides), Website (Pages, Blogs, Guides, Ebooks, Infographics), Outreach (Ads, PR, Social, Email), Events (Booth design, Signage, Handouts, Swag), Employee headshots, Basic video production & editing
  • Consult with campaign owners to recommend the optimal creative format for various pieces of collateral; Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts; Create creative pieces that are not just visual appealing, but drive the targeted engagement or action
  • Manage relationships with 2-3 key vendors and contractors who augment our marketing outreach
  • Follow our marketing production process; Prepare drafts for review, gather feedback, amend final designs to gain full approval
  • Keep design process and files organized, searchable, and clear

Must-haves

  • 3+ years experience working as a designer on a marketing team for a B2B or B2C organization
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating both creative talent and business-applied talent
  • Possesses creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality
  • Ability to manage all assigned tasks and projects with minimal oversight to be delivered on time and exceeding expectations
  • Sees unknowns as exciting opportunities to learn and develop new skills and expertise
  • Enjoys working in a highly collaborative setting while also possessing the ability to take individual ownership of getting their work done
  • Ability to work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  • Effective and proactive communicator (with peers, leaders, and other teams)
  • Ability to proofread your own work and catch errors
