Opportunity
The Senior Account Executive (AE) is responsible for generating revenue by leading direct sales efforts of the BrainStorm product to new and existing accounts across assigned territories. The AE leads customers through all points of the sales cycle, using executive-level selling techniques, such as warm prospecting, qualifying, pursuing, account penetration, sales process planning, demoing, negotiation, and closing; ensuring all key metrics are delivered. AEs work closely with Client Success, Business Development, and Marketing to proactively execute a plan to develop executive relationships, accelerate strategic sales motions, retain renewals, and drive expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Building a professional rapport with existing customer accounts
  • Establishing a territory plan with emphasis on expansion, growth, and net new opportunities
  • Prospecting for new customers in coordination with corporate marketing and business development teams
  • Assessing client needs and consulting with them on training solutions to maximize the success of their software deployments
  • Managing complex negotiations that are mutually beneficial and strengthen customer relationships
  • Delivering accurate, scalable, and predictable revenue to the business
  • Conducting direct sales activities and meeting personal quotas within a dedicated region

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding quotas.
  • Competitive with oneself and collaborative in a team.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Enterprise software or SaaS sales experience in Fortune 1000 accounts is required.
  • A familiarity with software vendor (i.e., Microsoft, Corel, Novell) or IT distributor (i.e., Ingram Micro, Insight) channels is preferred.
