About the Team

What you'll do

• Work with the FP&A Manager in preparing budgets, forecasts, month-end reporting and analysis, operational and management reporting and trend analysis

• Manage continuous financial model, including frequent data updates and re-forecasting, and optimize modeling structure to scale with company growth

• Develop relationships and work effectively across departments (esp. operations and marketing) to ensure financial forecast is collaborative and accurate

• Analyze new initiatives to support strategic management decision-making process

• Build comprehensive models and highlight and understand major assumptions and their effects on the budget/forecast

• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages that include analysis of key business trends and variances to plan

• Use critical thinking and technical skillset to run scenarios to evaluate and recommend data-driven solutions

• Identify areas of risk and opportunity through regular analysis of key business trends

• Leverage data for financial storytelling and present it through data visualizations in compelling dashboards and reports, to aid in decision making

• Guide planning and resource management

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field

• Advanced Excel skills required with modeling experience

• 1-2+ years experience in finance, preferably investment banking/consulting or FP&A for a subscription business

• Experience in SQL and Tableau preferred

• Excellent business acumen and ability to relay objectives and translate data to stakeholders within an organization

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to work cross functionally with multiple teams and communicate effectively

• Employs effective time management skills and meets deadlines.

• Manages multiple assignments simultaneously and has strong organizational skills.

• Demonstrates a strong attention to detail.

• Has knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and its applications in accounting, budgeting, and finance.

• Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness as a self-starter.

• Hybrid in office/WFH role - Tuesday, Thursday in Office / Monday, Wednesday, Friday Work From Home

• Develop a deep comprehension of the Chatbooks financial model, proficiency in updating and producing analysis from the model, and an understanding of the driving forces on growth and profitability.
