JOB DESCRIPTION

Who We Are

Within each Color Factory location, visitors are invited to experience the joy of color through interactive installations, immersive rooms, and carefully curated moments. Color Factory collaborates with artists, art institutions, nonprofits, and brand partners to tell compelling stories that make life just a little more joyful. Above all, Color Factory seeks to make art accessible for more people.

About the Onsite Team

We are passionate about tapping into the joy of color through the expression of art to create experiences that make people of all ages smile, connect, remember, and feel like kids again.

We believe in color’s unique ability to spark delight and to break down barriers so people can reconnect with themselves and others. Almost everyone could benefit from an injection of color and Color Factory’s aim is to not only provide it, but to make it accessible and approachable for all.

About the Role

As a Color Factory Inventory Specialist you'll maintain precise inventory levels, coordinate shipments and receipts, order supplies and merchandise, and efficiently organize stock to optimize venue operations and service delivery. You'll also:

Maintain precise inventory levels

Coordinate shipments and receipts

Order supplies, merchandise, and replenishables

Maintain BOH, exhibit, and Color Shop stock, and replenish stations and store shelves throughout the day

Partner with leadership and corporate stakeholders to refine inventory processes and ensure quality control

About You

You continually consider how each idea enhances or detracts from the customer experience. You don't sacrifice the customer experience for the sake of convenience or efficiency. You raise concerns when the customer experience is potentially at risk, even in difficult situations or conversations.

You are self motivated, resourceful, and proactive. You don't hide from problems or let them persist. You offer unsolicited help and support, and eagerly roll up your sleeves to pitch in wherever needed.

You can be counted on to see tasks through to completion. You can operate independently or with others to tie up loose ends and produce a successful outcome in line with company vision and standards.

You approach every challenge with courage and enthusiasm. You are authentic, deliberate, and graciously humble. You inspire others and motivates them to join the cause.

You ask relevant questions when they arise, even in difficult or uncomfortable situations. You seek to truly understand by asking “why” and “how”, and look for possible improvement.

You are constantly on the hunt for learning opportunities, and never feel as though you've learned everything there is to know about something.
