A late stage medical startup company, manufacturing a tendon repair medical device.

Position Description:

Sr. Planner/Buyer/Inventory Control

· Responsible for all production planning process.

· Responsible for maintaining all inventory.

· Responsible for purchasing and receiving incoming raw materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Maintain all production planning, including inventory control, purchasing, receiving, shipping, production planning and issuing work orders.

Routine Responsibilities:

· Ensure that Quality Standards are met in all Product Production Planning and Inventory activities.

· Provide help for all departments in all Product Planning activities.

· Maintain inventory levels at an optimum level.

· Help maintain the Master Production Schedule and all Material Management logs.

Reports To: Director of Operations

Education and Language Requirements:

· Strong knowledge of the medical device industry.

Experience Requirements:

· Experience in materials management or a related discipline preferably in the medical device industry.

· Knowledge of operations planning, materials management systems (ERP), and quality/regularity systems.

· Knowledge of FDA and ISO standards for medical devices.

Skills Requirements:

· Ability to handle multiple priorities/projects in an effective manner.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Strong computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to use a computer.

· Ability to work forty hours/week.

· Ability to lift approximately thirty pounds.
