Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Fullstack Engineer, Staff - Core Services in Sandy, UT:
Job Duties: Design, build, and launch new features for the newly implemented Galileo Client Console.
Create a world class client experience that allows them to implement and manage their financial
configurations quickly and safely. Integrate with many teams across Galileo and requires highly
technical, innovative, flexible thinkers with excellent communication and passion for delivering the best
experience to help people get jobs. Work with a small team of problem solvers who exhibit high energy,
deep technical skills and a dedication to experimentation. Deliver resilient and scalable code. Own and
ideate on technical solutions for product requirements and user stories with minimal supervision. Write,
test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals. Participate in
code and design reviews. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Domain expert on aspects
of the payment processing industry. Communicate engineering concepts and efforts with outside
stakeholders in product marketing, operations, business, legal, and compliance. Work in a fast-moving,
highly collaborative environment across multiple offices. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of
software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s
degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related
quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software
engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Cloud Infrastructure (2) Backend Development skills in PHP and Python
(3) Front End Development skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (4) Unix/Linux based environments (5)
Continuous Integration and Development with Jenkins (6) Develop code for highly scalable applications
(7) writing unit and integration tests (8)Monitor production environment as part of scheduled releases.
Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an
option.
