As part of the Operations Technology team within Epicor’s Business Operations organization, the Business Systems Analyst, Sr manages our business system implementations for the Finance organization, including deploying new systems and enhancements. The Business Systems Analyst, Sr will identify process improvements, create requirements documentation, and serve in a support role for various aspects of our systems. They will understand the needs within the business and will use best-practice methodologies to collaborate with members of the IT department to translate these into technical solutions.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate directly with business representatives within the Business Ops, Finance, and Accounting organizations to define ERP system needs, understand and document requirements, and translate those requirements into detailed functional plans for technical design and development
  • Partner with the IT organization to define implementation plans, estimate level of effort, determine timelines, coordinate testing handoffs, and ultimately deliver the solution to production
  • Proactively identify and recommend ways to improve quality and optimize processes for the organization within our business systems
  • Maintain Epicor system-related operations processes
  • Manage and respond to certain system issues submitted via support tool. Oversee support and issue resolution for Epicor users
  • Develop custom data extracts and reports in reporting tools like Tableau
  • Organize and direct the implementation of change management requests related to critical enhancements or new builds

What you will likely bring:

  • 4+ years of experience implementing ERP-Finance solution/modules of Tier 1/Tier 2 ERP systems.
  • Experience with self-service ETL/visualization tools (Tableau, Noetix, Power BI)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Professional presence and demeanor in both communication and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written skills are essential
  • Excellent analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills with a strong grasp of technical concepts
  • Ability to work across different platforms and applications, participate in multiple projects, and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating with others across departments including Finance, IT, etc. at all levels to deliver shared results
  • Customer Service Orientation - Consistently meeting and anticipating the needs of internal customers and fostering positive working relationships
