Development Operations Analyst, Principal

The Development Operations Analyst, Principal; provides expertise in developing, analyzing and maintaining tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release. Also provides leadership to members of the Dev Ops team.

What you will be doing:

  • Mastery of senior-level duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensures automation tools and process functionality.
  • Guides the build planning lifecycle from scheduling to post-delivery.
  • Oversees design, evaluation, and improvements of configuration and release operations.
  • Supports troubleshooting build and coding errors.
  • Provides guidance to software development engineering teams.
  • Plans, designs, develops, and tests software systems or applications.
  • Manages virtual environments and build agents.
  • Works closely with other teams to ensure change and release requirements are met.
  • Designs and delivers formal or informal training, mentorship, and supports other developers.
  • Provides leadership and coaching to the team.
  • Recommends and implements best practices.
  • Keeps up with external trends to incorporate into products and processes.
  • Proactively optimizes processes (automation, continuous integration, etc.).
  • Acts as an evangelist for Epicor at inside and outside events.
