Technical Writer

Epicor Software Corporation is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented self-starter to fill the position of Technical Writer for their Grow BI product. As a Technical Writer, you will be crucial in bridging the gap between technology and business by authoring instructional, and educational documentation for internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate must exhibit thoroughness, organizational skills, and conciseness. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management and Product Development teams while demonstrating independent excellence.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Document product functionality, troubleshooting, and best practices through research, cross-functional teamwork, and hands-on product testing.
• Determine and use appropriate methods and tools to best educate internal and external customers.
• Work closely with Product Management and Product Development to gather content requirements and review/approve documentation.
• Identify required content updates based on product enhancements.
• Ensure all deliverables are on time throughout the software development life cycle.
• Create help content that is accurate, thorough, high quality, and easy to understand.
• Utilize images and graphical elements to supplement documentation.
• Review, edit, and maintain content to ensure accuracy, usability, and ease of consumption.

What You Will Likely Bring:

• Experience: 3+ years of applicable experience with demonstrated success/knowledge.
• 1+ years of specialized/industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to conduct research.
