What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate effectively with other developers to meet project goals.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to support application needs.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for software development.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks as needed
What you will likely bring:
- 2+ years of software development experience in backend or full-stack roles.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java 8+.
- Experience with Spring Boot or other backend frameworks.
- Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of software testing (e.g., JUnit, Mocking frameworks).
- Familiarity with clean code principles and willingness to learn design patterns.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a distributed team.
What could set you apart:
- Familiarity with Spring Cloud or microservice architecture concepts.
- Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ (optional).
- Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes).
- Interest in front-end frameworks like Vaadin or basic knowledge of JavaScript/CSS.
