In this role, you will lead development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for managing the development lifecycle, ensuring best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and our architects to define and implement development standards and processes that the team will adopt and help foster this across Epicor.
What you will do:
Lead development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in a diverse technology environment with experience in distributed microservices, security and observability.
Stay up to date on the latest development technologies and trends and mentor other members across engineering organization.
Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices.
Define and implement development standards and processes.
Participate in technical design reviews in partnership with architects and support the team on the code review process.
Ensure security and compliance of software solutions.
Optimize development processes for performance and cost.
Integrate software solutions with different systems.
Manage development and cloud costs.
What you will likely bring:

What you will need to succeed
5+ year’s experience with Application design and development.
2+ year’s experience of people management skills
3+ years of experience with Azure, AWS or GCP or other cloud serviecs
Strong understanding of Azure software applications, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Knowledge of C#, SQL Server, and Azure elasticity, auto-failover, and serverless capabilities
Knowledge in IaC technologies like Terraform, Pulumi, arc, bicep, etc…
Knowledge of cloud security and compliance topics
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD practices and cloud automation
Experience with Observability frameworks and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
Experience with different cloud platforms, Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
Azure certifications, such as AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
Additional Notes: The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate their experience in leading a team to success by providing examples of projects where they have successfully guided their team to achieve their goals. How they have successfully managed conflicts within the team, ensuring that issues are resolved amicably and that team cohesion is maintained and should be able to demonstrate their experience in successfully implementing new services.
