Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accurate financial reporting & recording of revenue. Also, will be responsible for the successful operation of monthly revenue processes including deferred revenue management, journal entry submission, and audit/SOX support.
What you will be doing:
Prepare monthly revenue account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Responsible for specific revenue operations close activities.
Prepare monthly journal entries as part of the close process.
Perform contract research to identify and apply correct revenue recognition treatment based on contract terms.
Work together with the team members to enhance processes.
The understanding to substantiate financial transactions and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Collaborate with other teams on internal projects.
Assist with gathering data and performing documentation to support external audit and SOX.
What you will bring:
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Solid analytical, problem solving and financial troubleshooting skills
Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization both written and verbal
Experience collaborating effectively with team members
5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
2+ years of specialized/industry experience (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
