• Gather and analyze business requirements related to quoting, order processing, products, pricing rules, and contract management
• Develop, set up, and tailor Salesforce CPQ solutions to address business requirements, encompassing product configuration, pricing strategies, discount management, and quote templates
• Identify gaps between current and desired end-states and recommend solutions based on industry best practices
• Partner with the IT organization to develop Salesforce flows, custom objects, validation rules, Apex, and integrations
• Manage and respond to new feature enhancement requests and bugs submitted via the Salesforce queue
• Exhibit knowledge of Salesforce architecture, logic, and constructs in solution assessments, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Work with varied and complex groups within the business to define requirements and translate them into detailed system and functional designs
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex CPQ-related issues and escalations
• Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements for scalability and efficiency
• Lead CPQ-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and processes
• Follow specified testing methodologies, timing, and release protocols
• Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce platform
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce CPQ features and best practices
• Conduct thorough testing of CPQ solutions to ensure high quality and performance
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members
• Act as a liaison between IT and business units to facilitate effective communication and project execution

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent expeirence
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, with a strong focus on Salesforce CPQ/Steelbrick
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ, including product setup, pricing, quoting processes, contract management, amendments, and order management
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and best practices
• Excellent analytical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience developing solutions within complex, enterprise-level Salesforce environments
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools
• Understanding of Salesforce security model and data governance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret issues to deliver the best solutions
• Experience with Conga document generation and designing quote-related templates is a plus
• The following certifications are highly preferred: Salesforce Admin, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Industries CPQ Developer, Platform Developer I or II
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs is a plus
