Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicates with customers via phone, email, or chat to diagnose technical and/or system problems, troubleshoot issues, implement repairs, and test solutions. Fully documents actions and escalates issues when necessary.
  • Follows established procedures to troubleshoot client-server software application issues, which may involve Microsoft SQL, web servers, credit card payment terminals, network printers, and Android/iOS devices.
  • Responds to situations where standard procedures fail to resolve system or software failures, using customer-centric interpersonal skills and in-depth technical product knowledge.
  • Remains up to date with software updates and/or changes to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers.
  • Assists with system setup, configuration, and the use of programming and integration tools to support the customization, extension, and integration of products.
  • Addresses concerns raised by other departments, such as customer experience or sales.
  • Mentors other team members when needed.
  • Contributes to and utilizes the department's knowledge base articles and FAQs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer experience skills.
  • Knowledge of system application fundamentals and business processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in a support environment with high call volumes is desired.
  • SaaS or e-Commerce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • Relevant industry knowledge and experience.

Extras

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, ERP applications, or analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with financial, manufacturing, retail, or distribution business processes.
  • Experience in database administration, installation, and configuration.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes if required.
