The Business Analyst, Sr is responsible for analyzing internal and customer requirements, translating the requirements into specifications and designing solutions for issues that may arise to ensure the solutions meet the customer needs.
What you will be doing
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, product managers, and developers to gather product requirements. Will work more directly with customers and have more domain knowledge.
- Writes business and customer requirements, including scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria
- Documents business and technical requirements and works with multiple teams to prioritize and validate features.
- Completes validation of product at the end of the development cycle.
- Discovers complex problems and requirements and designs solutions.
- Answers questions from the development team about features and requirements and may collaborate with the product management team as required.
- May present demonstrations of finished work to customers.
- Performs demonstrations of sprint reviews.
- Acts a mentor for other team members.
- Works on projects of greater complexity and uncertainty.
- Builds out project plans, priorities, and timelines for Product leadership
- Reviews and negotiates priorities with Product Management
- Identifies new scope as a result of demonstrations as well as prioritizes and completes impact analysis of scope changes.
- Works with 1-3 scrum teams.

- Maintains a client-focused approach, ensuring solutions meet user needs and deliver measurable value.
- Leverages domain expertise and analytical thinking to provide strategic insights and data-driven decision-making support.
what could set you apart
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 2+ years of industry experience in building supply, construction supply, or Software
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

Range:
Minimum: 70,000.00 CAD Maximum: 160,000.00 CADThe salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors relevant to the position.
