As the Director of Product Management for Global Compliance, you will lead the development and execution of a robust, scalable compliance strategy across Epicor’s product portfolio.
You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our products adhere to the highest global standards in quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
Managing a dedicated global team for compliance and country-specific functionality, you will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, guiding your team in implementing and refining compliance policies, strategies, and best practices.
Working cross-functionally with teams in Product Management, Development, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, you will collaborate to create an integrated approach to compliance.
Additionally, you will design systems to proactively track regulatory changes, leveraging customer feedback to prioritize and enhance compliance initiatives that drive product excellence and enhance the customer experience.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement a comprehensive global product compliance strategy, communicating the direction and priorities across core ERPs
Oversee a team that leads the roadmap creation, prioritization, and delivery of compliance features or enhancements for Epicor’s international product portfolio
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to determine international growth goals, product compliance requirements necessary to meet corporate objectives, and provide regular progress updates
Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities. Review product documentation, communications, and collateral
Conduct compliance audits and assessments to ensure that Epicor products meet or exceed the expectations of customers, regulators, and auditors
Communicate and educate internal and external audiences on Epicor’s compliance features, benefits, and value propositions
Define and implement a scorecard of metrics to measure success to meet the established strategic direction
Manage the investigation and resolution of compliance issues and incidents
Leverage technology to drive process automation and innovation to increase operational efficiency
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
Global travel up to 25%
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Advanced knowledge in Product Management and the ability to teach others
Passion for and ability to understand customer needs
Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills
Excellent communication, cross-functional teamwork and influencing skills
Experience owning a strategic P&L; collaborating with cross functional teams and driving growth goals and operational excellence
Qualifications:
10+ years progressive experience in product management, product compliance, or a related field
6+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
5+ years of specialized/industry experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience implementing and maintaining successful product compliance programs leveraging direct and indirect strategies to meet objectives
Deep understanding of the compliance challenges and opportunities facing ERP software customers in various markets and industries, such as manufacturing, distribution, building supply, and retail
Strong knowledge of the compliance standards and regulations applicable to ERP software such as, GDPR, CCPA, SOC, ISO, PCI, HIPAA, ADA, FDA, etc.
Proven track record of defining and delivering compliance solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives
Experience managing the entire Product Life Cycle
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels
Strategic, analytical, and creative mindset, with the ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills that Will Set You Apart:
MBA or advanced degree
Management consulting experience
Experience establishing partnerships and partner programs
Familiarity with the latest technologies and trends in the ERP domain, such as SaaS, AI, DaaS, etc.
Demonstrated ability to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions that align with customer requirements and business goals
