Solution Engineer, Sr (Pre-sales) - ANZ

As a Solution Engineer at Epicor, you are part of the Sales team and will use your experience to provide assistance to the sales force (direct and channel) offering in-depth knowledge of the technical and functional capabilities of the solution to potential prospects. You will present and communicate at all levels of personnel and eloquently position Epicor and its values to prospects in the sales cycle.
What you will be doing:
Prepare and conduct software demonstrations along with Sales team.
Provide technical expertise by documenting processes and providing workflow analysis in distribution.
Consult with the sales force to provide solutions to customer requirements.
Act as a liaison with the Product Managers to discuss potential product development.
Conduct customer and prospect webinars.
What you will likely bring:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of pre-sales (or 5 years’ experience in consulting) within the ERP industry, or equivalent operational ERP experience
Extensive experience in the distribution industry.
Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales, with documented experience of giving customer presentations and/or demonstrations.
Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Syspro, Infor, Sage, Netsuite or other ERP companies or Value Added Resellers (VARs).
What could set you apart:
3+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent industry experience
Any F&B experience is an advantage
Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience will be a plus
