Transform technical challenges into solutions! As a Technical Application Specialist, you will identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to Vision ERP software, providing ongoing technical support to our customers in the automotive parts field. You will be responsible for acting as a direct resource for our customers, ensuring their systems run smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking applicants with strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of ERP systems.

What you will be doing:

• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of Vision ERP software.
• Provide software and hardware support for existing customers.
• Diagnose technical and/or system problems via phone, email, or chat; troubleshoot, repair, and test solutions; fully document and escalate if necessary.
• Follow procedures to troubleshoot client-server software application issues involving Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Server, and network printers.
• Stay up-to-date with software updates and changes to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers.
• Contribute to and use the department's knowledge base articles and FAQs.

What you will likely bring:

• At least 4 years of experience in service support.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Server and Unidata or other PICK Databases.
• Database management and architecture experience.
• Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
• Experience with documenting procedures.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to the customer service experience.
• Dependability to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected.
• Familiarity with Windows server and desktop environments.
• Ability to multitask and meet specific goals set by supervisors and management.
