The Systems Operations Analyst focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and migrating virtualized server environments while ensuring compliance with operational policies and collaborating with development teams for seamless project execution.
What you will be doing:
- Troubleshoot Windows and Microsoft SQL issues for internal and external customers.
- Manage virtualized servers in both VMware and Azure environments.
- Participate in migrating co-location infrastructure to Azure, providing technical expertise throughout the process.
- Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures for Epicor EDI systems.
- Collaborate with development teams on various projects to ensure successful execution.
- Foster effective communication within a dispersed team to maintain alignment and efficiency.
- Provide occasional after-hours support for critical systems to ensure business continuity.
What you will likely bring:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in technology, with expertise in infrastructure, networking, storage, and virtualization.
- A minimum of 2 years of specialized or industry-specific experience, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of field-specific challenges and solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, VMware, and Azure, along with strong documentation skills to analyze and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
