The Technical Application Specialist identifies and troubleshoots technical issues related to Vision ERP software, providing ongoing technical support to our customers in the Automotive parts field and acting as a direct resource for our customers.
What you will be doing:
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of Vision ERP software.
- Provide software and hardware support for existing customers.
- Confers with customers via phone, email, or chat to diagnose technical and/or system problem troubleshoot, repair and test solutions. Fully documents and escalates if necessary.
- Follows procedures to troubleshoot client-server software application issues.
- Stays up-to-date with software updates and/or changes to be able to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers.
- Contributes and uses department's knowledge base articles and FAQ's.
What you will likely bring:
- Must be bilingual (Spanish/English)
- At least 2 years experience in Service Support.
- Understanding of ERP software
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office365.
- Knowledge of Inventory Management Software will be an asset.
- Experience with documenting procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with a team in a fast paced, constantly changing environment and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to the customer service experience.
- Dependable to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected.
- Familiarity with Windows server and desktop environment.
- Ability to multitask and meet specific goals set by supervisors and management.
What could set you apart:
- Knowledge of Unidata PICK database, ERP applications or analytical tools.
- Knowledge of financial, manufacturing, retail or distribution business processes.
- Database administration, installation and configuration experience.
- Business travel may be required.
- Ability to work all available shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
