Hiring Pro Tip: The interview is only half of the equation. Show us you are the right person for the job OUTSIDE of the interview. Hint: This whole job is about whether you are good at connecting with people and getting meetings in a likable, non-annoying way.

Job Description:

Develop relationships

·        You’ll generate many of your own leads and nurture them through the sales process, by understanding them enough to provide real value via social, email, and other means (mail, in-person)

·        Turn educators into referral engines by setting them up with our limited free accounts (helpful when closing large school and district deals)

·        Meetings, phone calls, emails and social outreach will be key metrics of success

·        Following up with contacts and moving leads closer to personal meetings and demos

·        Develop human to human relationships and be a trusted consultant to school and district administration

Closing Sweet Deals!

·        Conducting demos both in person and via remote screenshares

·        Consistently following up with contacts to progress them through the sales funnel

·        Create proposals and mutual sales timelines for each client

·        Drive net-new revenue growth through new district acquisition and expansion of current accounts

·        Write and test variations of email copy to convert prospects to clients

·        Work with email automation tools to automatically keep prospects ready to buy

·        Employ a variety of techniques to track response rates to our different outreach initiatives

·        Be creative in looking for ways to improve our existing process to maximize the team’s success

·        Develop and execute strategic plans for your territory and build reliable forecasts

·        Be part of a cohesive sales team. Work together to close deals in your assigned territory. And work with our Customer Experience team to make sure that your sold accounts renew.

“Don't tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results.” - George S. Patton

An Ideal Candidate:

Most importantly:

·        Will be driven and hungry to succeed

·        Can be given a vision or goal and figure out how to make it happen

·        Has a bias towards action (Get stuff done!)

·        Is relentlessly persistent, while always adding thoughtful value to every potential customer

·        1-3 years experience in sales (bonus if you have experience in: B2B, Education or long sales cycles)

·        Will have experience in building a sales pipeline

·        Comfortable building relationships from initial cold calls over several months.

·        REQUIRED: Must feel comfortable cold calling (Although that’s not the majority of what we do, it is a key part of building up your pipeline)

·        Unlimited PTO

·        Uncapped Commissions & Great Health Benefits

·        Tuition Reimbursement

·        Employee Stock Options

·        Work Remotely (We are generally in the office 3-4 days a week)

·        Dog Friendly

·        Dress Code?? (Is that still a thing? No, we don’t have one)

·        Our Startup Environment means we are growing quickly and have lots of career growth opportunities for hustlers that get stuff done!

COVID-19 considerations

We are a fully remote team. We do have an office that some of us are in most days, but we have a culture of "Get Work Done" and if that's happening, we don't care where you work.
