We’re looking for someone with grit, gratitude and curiosity to fill the role of Senior Accountant at SalesRabbit. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the financial operations of the company: month close, preparing the financials, annual 3rd party audit, billing, receivables etc.

You’ll also play an important part in guiding how we invest in our processes. In other words, we are striving to automate everything, so we focus on the interesting problems (and avoid the boring tasks - you know the ones).

We’re looking for someone that works well in this type of environment: loves tackling new problems, dedicated to building effective hands-off processes, and dedicated to getting the details right. We need the expertise of a CPA with some experience in third party audits. This role has the opportunity to grow into a controllership role, so we’re looking for someone to move up and grow with us.

To be a good fit for this particular role, you should be/have:

  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Experience working through a third party audit (the more the better)
  • High attention to detail. It’s important that you care about getting the details right. Systems you can learn, but conscientiousness you should bring to the table
  • Technical aptitude. We use a lot of technology to make our work easier and more consistent. We’re looking for someone who does that too. We use the following softwares all the time:
    • Excel, Google Sheets, Tray, Zapier, Ordway (for invoices), Salesforce, etc.
    • We’re on Netsuite, so experience with this or a competitor (Intacct, Quickbooks) of these is required.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

  • Bring insights from the financial processes optimize revenue/costs, increase retention and generally improve company performance
  • Own the preparation of the KPI and other business-driver reports
  • Assist in the preparation of all financial reports and bring insight to executives from those reports
  • Managing the financial interactions with our customers, including billing, collections and invoicing through our automated system
  • Owning the annual third party financial audit
